- How do I know who donated on behalf of my child?
Once you are logged-in to your site, you will be able to go to the Donation Reports page. All donations made on behalf of your child will be listed by first initial and last name. To protect donor’s right to privacy, they also have the option of donating anonymously.
- Do I have to submit receipts for reimbursement?
Yes. You will remit your receipts to Vital Interventions Accessible, 4731 Homestead Place, Matthews, NC 28104. Please allow 4-6 weeks for reimbursement.
- Do I have to pay first and justify why they should give me the reimbursement?
You will find a list of pre-approved therapies and interventions on our website. Most submissions under these categories will be paid. If you are unsure whether your therapy/intervention qualifies for reimbursement, you can contact us at info@vianow.org prior to your service/purchase to confirm eligibility.
- If someone makes a donation on behalf of my child, are they the ones that decide what it covers?
No. Funds will be disbursed based upon the receipts filed by each family, and upon availability.
- What if there is an intervention my child needs, and I can't front the money?
In situations of this nature, contact us at info@vianow.org to discuss pre-qualification possibilities.
- How do I set up the micro-site?
First, you must fill out the application and set up the micro-site using the step-by-step instructions. Once it has been approved, you will be notified that the site is live and your friends, family, etc. will be able to access it.
- How much does this website cost me?
There is no fee for the micro-site to the family. A small percentage of each donation will be retained for administrative purposes.
- Can a member of our family donate on behalf of my child?
Yes. Family members can donate on behalf of the child. However, they may not be able to receive a tax deduction for the entire amount of the donation. They should check with their accountant or tax advisor regarding tax deductibility.
